my voyage into the world of photography. not much of a chance to really explore this medium. although with a newly acquired digital camera, i can and do create my own stock photography and line up compositional shots to use in my design.

the black and white photography contained within are my first attempts at traditional black and white photography. using all the normal tools to produce these beautiful pieces. film. 35mm camera. metal reels. enlarger. fiber paper. chemical washes. hang to dry.

experimentation with light and contrast and most elements of composition came into play within this class. i was even able to play with tints and toning to achieve an "old fashioned" sepia toned look.
